Your pic is still ugly for me but not that extreme.
In le future there will be alot of ugly trains since streamlined for pasenger transport and cheap. Freight will mostly stay the same but due to the lare influc of passenger rail (that is good) they will impliment new designs fast.
I dislike them since they are in my opinion loosing the energy wich drawed me twaords train in the past. That primitive mechanical but resiliant look in the post industrial revolution and the 50s. This is kinda loosing its soul.
