Our interests are just fundamentally opposed in that case. I like the current system because it enables me to own and operate a separate home on a meager laborer's salary. I'd rather not ever be forced to share a wall with some rando just by being unable to afford better. I like that I can take my car into town and find parking reliably, so I can enjoy this and other cities' amenities without having to actually live nearby, packed together and on top of my fellow man like sardines.
There isn't some shadowy cabal of Big Oil and Big Concrete shills lurking in the shadows of every thread, but there are those, like me, who just won't ever agree with you, because our interests are completely opposed.
