Why is this board so slow as of late?
I have an old Miyata. I was stupid and tried to replace the axle with one that could accommodate quick release levers, found out they didn't fit, and then thought I put back everything back together the way it's supposed to be. Well, now the front wheel sorta wiggles around like this. It's driving me insane, and I'm concerned that it might damage the parts. I wound up replacing and regressing the ball bearings, and then tightened the cones as much as possible while still letting the wheel spin freely. What do you guys think is the problem? I would greatly appreciate it since this is seriously driving me insane and this bike is my only means of transportation at the moment. Also how bad is it to ride it in its current condition? I can walk to school, but my job is 5 miles away and I've already had to go like this twice. Thanks for the help guys.
