Hi, I impulse bought a road bike off craigslist. It works great (as far as I can tell), however I'm worried the tires are a bit too thin. The size is 700x23C.
The roads in my town are ok, but can go from well paved to pretty beat up. I was thinking about switching to a wider tire for a more comfortable ride.
Do I have to worry about tire/rim compatibility when getting new tires? Will anything 700 x XX fit my rims? What would be a good size to move to for a city/suburban environment?
