Pretty much what people are trying to do with carbon flexstays, except it’s a steel flextoptube, I think that comment is totally valid in this thread considering flexstays are becoming more and more prevalent even in big-suspension mountain bikes and the fact that compliance has been making a huge comeback in the past 10-20 years, it’s not really crazy that the first image looks like a valid design for compliance just like the slingshot and the last image is literally the generic softtail model used on tons of motorcycles and a couple shitty bicycles today
