Oh ye of little imagination. Now that mountain bikes are moving past 2.4" wide tires, adventure bikes are moving on up. We're basically re-inventing the 90's NORBA-era MTB, but with drop bars this time. Behold your 2018/2019 trendy bikes:
First up, the new Salsa Journeyman. A budget aluminum bike with 700C x 50mm tires, or up to 2.2" wide 27.5" MTB tires. These are officially bigger tires than I was running on my full-squish XC racing MTB a decade ago.
