Anyone ever have any bad experiences with small craft or sailboats getting in your way while transiting through narrow water ways? I've gone through the bay area a few times and every time we've had to sound 5 short at least once.
Last time 2 drunk idiots in a whaler sped right past us and stopped and started drifting in the middle of the channel a half mile ahead under the bridge span we were about to go under. They eventually got out of the way but the pilot screamed at em from the bridge wing as we passed. Had a nice kek from the whole thing because I was on the bow chillin.
10/10 funniest anchor watch I've stood.
