Neither my need nor my budget is for that, I just wanted a cheap and reasonably fast ebike. Making it fwd simply meant I didn't have to spend money replacing the hub-gears the bike came with.
But considering our laws it is quite the monster.
Ebikes here are limited to 250w motors that are only allowed to assist (ie. if you don't pedal, the motor does nothing) and they have to shut off above 25km/h. A moped here can legally do 30km/h or 45km/h depending on class, I've done 60km/h on my Chinkshit supreme ebike. Ebikes can also be classed as a "speed pedelec" which is basically a 45km/h moped you have to pedal.
