is there a consensus on how high to put a seatpost-mounted rear light? somewhere around the middle of the exposed seatpost or perhaps closer to the bottom on a large size frame with a horizontal top tube? putting it at the very top might look bad aesthetically since it's too close to your ass and i might want it a bit lower to make room for a rear reflector that's integrated into a DIY ass saver so that i can put on and take off both the ass saver and reflector in one go depending on the weather (or just leave them on during the darker time of year).
