it would be better spent on a better project to begin with. Actually good chromoly 80s/90s road bikes in equally poor condition are not expensive. This is a absolute bottom tier gaspipe piece of shit. Surely you can tell that just based on how heavy it is.
i think it's admirable you fixing it up but adding a groupset to it is too much
this needs to be said, it's a total piece of shit bike
also, pic related, a 'headset spanner' is the tool you need to overhaul the headset, and a big adjustable wrench that can fit over the flats. It's really quite a straightforward job too.
