>>1280236>>1280310I wasn't directly hating as I was more autistically explaining the applied effect. Honestly, if/when computer assisted DoF becomes as accurate as optical DoF, I will be amazed. As a person that prioritizes practicality and having a hobby in low cost photography, it just doesn't make sense to me that teams of engineers are programming DoF into their software when it could easily be achieved through optical effects without expensive lenses.
