In the last /PYBT/ it wasn't road ready, I got some rear suspension bungs from an LBS (well, subway-local) -- they take about five seconds to fit and it was ready to roll. I've had a short shakedown ride and it rides well. The suspension works, I could see the front doing it's leading link bit but didn't look at the rear. It's stable and comfortable on rough surfaces and it can be made to go fairly quickly.
I'll need to replace the cables (it had been in storage for years before I got it) and may swop the front changer for an 8000 if it's compatible with the thumb shifter -- I can experiment with that. This will be a fun bike.
