These babies. Popularily called "frogs" bc look at it. They were built locally between the late 40's and early 60's by the company that used to own this commuter line (it's publicly owned now). They were made by cannibalizing the old Brill cars from the 1910's-20's. They were such good trains that they were in use up until 1996, and I even got to ride on them when I was little. One of them has been preserved in running condition and restired to how it looked in the 1940's, with wooden seats for 3rd class, and padded felt seats for 2nd class. There was never a 1st class. It also has "single-blade" doors, as in the doors have just one part that opens, not two as would be usual.
