I posted about this in /bbg/ but figured I might have a bit more luck in here
I used to have a Revolution Track Single Speed bike I used for commuting and generally fun, and loved it to death
Left it with a friend and its now gone, I'm trying to find a similar bike with a similar feature set as Edinburgh Bike Co-Op apparently no longer do their own bikes, so I can have a cheap, fun town machine and commuter.
Bike was full Reynolds Crmo, Flip flop rear hub, threaded BB, gorgeous paint-job, extremely good at climbing, I remember punching up a 9% grade on it without issue even when I was 15lbs overweight and a smoker
The trouble is I can't find anything similar at the same price point, I paid 250 for it new at the end of 2014, looking around now the only thing remotely similar I can find is Decathlon's 500 series, which is HiTens, has flat bars instead of drops, and is from a big store rather than an actual bike shop, I live in a little bumfuck town so finding anything second hand isn't happening
Is the good cheap singlespeed/fixie dead?
