Denali poster here, I ditched the micronew shifters, front shifter wouldn't let me shift down a half step after a while, got a refund. I 3d printed a thumb shifter and its mounted somewhat like suntour commands, except my dumbass forgot to consider cable routing. It's indexed with headset bearing balls and pen springs. The location is so comfy, I can shift easily from the hoods and the tops.
Got some short reach ergo bars as well, and ditched the 175mm Sakae cranks since my legs are short. I have a 170mm set but its waiting on a bb from china, the stock steel cranks are ok for now.
3D printed a bottle cage but it broke today, will print another with acetone treatment for strength soon.
Considering putting a "GMC" on the downtube except in BMC font.
