Then, you would add aero bars, a setback seatpost, and the correct saddle for your riding position, for when you want to go from day to day training to race time.
Save the rest of the budget for race day wheels if you get serious, or to put towards a dedicated triathalon race bike if you get REALLY serious.

Your bridgestone may be very dated, but it's actually probably worth keeping as a winter trainer or commuter, or possibly a fixed gear stroke conversion. Some people actually collect bridgestones. But the thing definitely needs refreshing. Your QRs are in an unsafe location by the way.
