>>1892167It really depends on the rim - some carbon rims are absolute tanks and are unlikely to be damaged, but in the past mountain bike rims were so easy to dent that pic related was a common shop tool. Most rims are somewhere inbetween those two extremes, so consider that another reason to avoid riding with a flat tube/tire.
