i change the tire for a 35c and while it would still rub when fully inserted, a small bearing ball placed inside the dropouts was enough to give clearence for it to spin freely. the only problem i found was that the axle nuts would not grip firmly into the fork because of the small retention bit at the end of the drop out. To solve this i cut some shins in half and placed then besides the nuts, thus making the contact area equal with the retention bit and allowing it to firmly grip the fork.
Took it for a ride; what a blast, maybe grabbel isn't a meme after all
