>>1858755No it's about lining up a wide tooth on the chainring with a wide 'hole' in the chain. There's only a 50% chance it will end up on the right part. Have you looked at road groupsets? They had oval chainring a long time ago, I think they were called bio-pace or something goofy like that, you might get a 2x or 3x setup of that to work.
