Now mountain bikes are all swoopy shaped with dropper seatposts so that doesn’t matter anymore, most modern bikes are now sized for (arm/torso) reach length.
I would ride a few bikes and try to remember their reach numbers so you can get a feel for what’s “good” and how different a new bikes reach is.
I’m 6’0”, forgot my inseam, and ride a “large” mountain bike with 460mm reach
