Still, it's about all and everyone bicycles, so only problem with being too modern is that you'll get bored and cold by riding so slow so long, while 25kg omafiets barely keeps up.
I like the event, but IMHO some of the concepts, culture and ideas that originate from it are retarded.
Even though I'd like to see less cars in city center, you cant outright pretend people don't need them. That's no better than cager talk, that road is for cars.
Also, it's sad when few drunk jackals start doing blatantly stupid shit like pushing over pedestrians or damaging cars and police are forced to fine people at random just to bring it to order.
