Mind you once the Chuo Shinkansen opens JR Central might shorten the N700S cars from 16 to 12 cars for any of the trains that only run in the Tokaido Route since almost everyone would just take the Chuo Shinkansen between Tokyo and Nagoya/Osaka anyway
>NagaDenDo they even run any DMUs? From that I read it has an all EMU fleet and they did buy two sets of the old 253 Series EMU from JR East in 2011 so I doubt they need anything new soon. I thought of other potential candidates but they all have reasons not to take since it is hilariously complicated (hybrid active + passive tilt and it is a diesel-electric hybrid as well)
