Anyways,.just get a. $3,000 Civic or Corolla, with 5 comfortable seats, a decent trunk, leg room and just a genuine decent car.

And where there's a $3,000 Civic there's a $4,000 Accord or Camry that's an all around superior automob in every single way.
Hell certain years, the bigger heavier full size sedans are more fuel efficient on the highway than little compact economy cars cuz aerodynamics are better on a long stretch car than short stubby hatchbacks. And superior engines that aren't strained.
The Volkswagen Type 1 is what OP thinks we need to bring back. It won't, you just get a 125cc motorcycle and enjoy 100mpg.
