that was to be expected, but i got a question, i drove with a setup like this for 11k km in one year, i was talking with my dad that we should change the chain at least 2-3 times a year, but he proposed that we use 1 chain and 1 cassete until it fucks itself up, or the time comes for it, the thought behind that is, the cassete's gonna need replacement after that big ammount anyway, and chain replacement is redundant at that point, can anyone tell me if this way of thinking is good ? changing a cassete after 10-15k km ?
