>>1929287There's no solid indicator of who's going to be a good CFI. I've flown with 600 hour CFIs that are super impressive, and 10,000 hour ATPs that are near worthless. Pick the one that makes an effort to produce good pilots. For your CFII then yes you preferably want someone who has experience outside the flight school.
