When I was in student exchange in my high school days for month, I used to take the LEB to school from Echallens to Lausanne and it was lovely.
Narrow gauge, the new Stadler trains were comfy and the fact that it most of the time run alongside the highway blowed my mind.
I'm waiting though that they are gonna extend the tunnel to Prilly and add more bridges to the route to speed up the journey a bit, and also make it safer.
Also the fact that Lausanne is city of ~200 000 residents and it has a proper metro line, fancy light rail line and frequent trolleybusses to places was very nice.
