I have always felt a little bit of irritation and itching in the front center of my hairline during and after rides, right where the helmet is in contact with the head. I wrote it off until I noticed I was starting to thin out on that spot, so I did some googling and apparently this is called traction alopecia and it can be permanent.
I've switched to satin finish headbands under the helmet, but I don't know what else to do other than not wear a helmet. Anyone else have this problem?
