>>1133361The cool thing about crashing a steel bike, is that damage is visible, and if it gets worse, it will generally do so gradually. Damage a carbon bike, and it might not be visible, and then suddenly one day it will snap. Steel will show and it will bend.
Being a lower end model (all miyatas are butted and good bikes though), and a touring one, yours will stand up to more abuse than a 'nicer' steel bike. It looks like your crumple zone wheel sacrifice did it's job. This is your chance to get a deep dish campy wheel or an aerospoke ! !
The simple test for frame alignment is if it rides no hands, it's fine. If you want to be really thorough checking it, take the fork out and check the steerer for cracks.
