I think we need to start having a serious discussion on /n/ about internal combustion scooters/small displacement motorcycles and how they are BY FAR the most reasonable, affordable, reliable, fuel-efficient and sensible options (at least for now in 2022) for general transportation. They literally offer a solution to almost every problem that comes up for cyclists, electric users, transit users, and cagies.
It's a tough pill to swallow but I think mass adoption coupled with relaxed regulations (no insurance/license for under 50cc, for example) would solve 90% of our problems.
Luckly the west is too retarded to figure this out so you're in luck if the thought of everyone scooting around on mopeds makes you seethe.
