>>1483565Nice man, glad you're making it. Not sure if I'm up for track work to be honest, the weekends might pay well when I get a full job but they fuck up your entire schedule and sleep pattern. I realised after my dad passed away from basically overworking himself and having a heart attack that maybe this shit isn't too healthy for someone.
Attached is my first big site I got to work on, Holgate carriage depot in York. What a fucking mess that was, so many unexplained cables - we went a year over the expected date. Some poor guy went straight through a 11kv wire with a stihl saw after being told it was isolated.
I'm half thinking about heading into the ROC and getting a signalling or otherwise desk job up there, or even moving down to Derby if possible and heading onto the track recording trains, at least those have a schedule and decent pay.
