Telling worn or broken components is universally applicable to what I do, bent is bent, a bad bearing is a bad bearing irrelevant to what the end application it's being used for, so I'm not too concerned about that part.
Is there any way to tell frame composition aside from any left over advertising on the frame?
Ignoring the obvious condition, would either be an example of what to look for if they were in acceptable condition?
