I incidentally found some dude on Facebook selling this bike and he bought it new in the 80s and basically garaged it and never rode it. When I got it it still had the original pads, rubber, and tubes.
It's just such a fun bike to ride. I've put several thousand miles on the frame easily. I've had other newer bikes with Ultegra components and stuff. And they're lighter and faster but this one is just fun to ride. And I don't pretend to be a boy racer anymore so I don't care if it's heavier.
