>>1374694fair points, thanks. in my particular situation though, i think i'll manage it. the weather here is usually pretty cool and i only need to ride like 5 km and i can take a shower afterwards. i plan on going at speeds where aero will definitely come into play. already at moderate speeds without a helmet on, but with prescription glasses on, the wind noise bothers me and i don't want to make my tinnitus worse. i've read that some helmets make a deafening wind noise. cat ears aren't a satisfying solution to me and some users say they aren't effective enough. pic related is similar to kask bambino but is relatively inexpensive and seems to be an all-in-one solution for me. kask bambino doesn't seem to have too much wind noise based on people's comments i've found online.
