Northern California reporting. Mostly deal with with white, Indian, and hispanic customers.
Typical white customers
>"I did a triathlon once and know that bike fitting my daughter to this 400 hybrid should be included" (we charge for fitting and only do it for road and TT bikes)
>Routinely berate younger looking employees.
>Complain about homeless people begging outside shop
>"I need a bigger seat"
>"Can I return this bib? The section between the legs is starting to fray on both sides" - every fatass
Typical Indian customers
>"does it come with a stand of some kind?"
>"Is this 200 dollar bike the right fit for me?"
> -looking at a 60 cm clearance bike- "we can just lower the seat!
>"we were thinking of riding sometimes of the road and sometimes on the trail."
Hispanic customers tend to be the least annoying. With or without the language barrier, they tend to just ask simple questions and want to know prices.
