>>1147104Its strange really. I the Yokohama and Nambu lines got new rolling stock yet the Musashino line still uses the 205. Hanyku is also withdrawing most of their older stock and replacing them with newer trains. Most of the older stock now serve branch lines and their numbers are dwindling. The looks are for appearances since that what Japanese folks are all about anyways. And besides its not like the new rolling stock isnt a improvement. The 13000 compared to the 03 is almost spooky since you can barely hear the train accelerating. Most of the new rolling stock is dramatically better than what they replaced in terms of quality and efficiency.
Its ok, I know i will never be a driving out in the Chiba area driving 209-2100s around the Boso Peninsula. Kill me now.
