>>1875333I will add my view here as well. I ride heavy escooter. Do I worry about it getting stolen? Of course. But I do things to minimize the chance of theft:
- I carry U-lock, I have it in the belt holster that I have made so I can quickly pull it up and the key is hanging on my wrist so locking and unlocking is really quick. You can lock it anywhere: fence, streetlight, traffic sign, small tree.
- Sometimes I do not lock it out of laziness. But I can lock the power with wireless remote that I have installed there. Escooter is heavy, so there is low chance somebody would carry it.
- I also put there gps gsm locator with independent battery.
And if I can't recover it, it's not the end of the world
