some thoughts:
They're quite good.
The adjustment thingy rattles awfully so has to be removed so the adjustment has to happen with a screw driver (fine).
The chinesium mounting band is not even bent into shape when it ships so all kind of mounting shenanegans are definitely possible, drop bars, frame, anything.
They're micro ratcheting and there are not quite enough clicks. I'm using them to shift campy mechs on shimano cogs and it -just- has enough tiny clicks to get each gear right but i can imagine some setups it might sometimes be more like bad indexing than friction.
They have to be quite tight not to slip.
There's flex. They're definately cheap shit.
But they're quite good.
After riding them a few times I actually quite like them now.
Deore or especially XT thumbies in friction mode are better obviously but there isn't an infinite supply of those.
I recommend these.
they even come with (terrible) cables
