I just pre-ordered this bike for AU$1900 (US$1500). I didn't really like the marketing, there is absolutely no way this is 'XC light' with Marin's inhouse wheels and I'm pretty sure the 120mm travel is just to save money cause Judy's are cheap OEM, but I do like Marin bikes and have good experiences with them, and I was looking for a 100-120mm travel hardtail. The components seem okay, it comes tubeless ready with tape applied and tubless wheels so I just sling some spare valves and go which is nice. I'm hoping it's under 28lbs/13kg but Marin's are heavy.
What would you have bought with the same money?
