>>1409261>>1409295Thanks anons, i built It in a traditional simple fashion, non-aero levers and thumb shifter on the tops.
My particular reason is that the reach is absurd and i want to avoid flat bars, although i might reconsider.

Rims suck, they're Chrome plated, but i will stay true to the concept and not spend a dime on parts
>>1409875Yes, any generic flat with no drop shoe or sneakers will do. Avoid running shoes If using straps, the nose is too soft and actually pushing against the straps will be very unpleasant to your toes on longer rides.

Since i know where you might be coming from, my two cents: kenda 1.25 tires are the besta value; vzan escape is shit but light, get good spokes and run It with 32; If quill: dia compe and other old ots stems are the only within reach for a fair price, keep in mind most of them are for 22.2mm forks tho, they will not fit 21.2mm forks. If ahead: absolute, high one and wg sports all make fairly good stems, stay away from trash like Mônaco, gtu. Bars: New will be probably cheaper than the one that Boomer is trying to sell as rare, so get compact drops to go along with the long reach that frame probably have. Levers: want light and cheap? Go Ghetto. Get some aero brakes levers with rubber hoods (naked non aero will look way out of place)and for shifters grab some clamps on dt shifters. If not avaliable, find the smallest thumb shifters you can and place them as you will (barend or tops). Brakes: gonna have to be cantilevers, i've found that even cheap ass cantilevers will work ok If properly setup and with good pads, cantis that use a normal cable as the straddle will be harder to setup. Gearing: freewheel? Megarange lol or old 14-26 shimano, just try to get one with normal splines for removal Tool, for the sake of you local bike shop mechanic. For rings i dunno, all my bikes are 1x.
Seatpost: whatever, saddle: selle royal Mach 2 are plenty light and confortable
