>>1754385The clever part is, it's an addition to the original Kings Cross station - the original building wasn't fit for purpose so, rather than rebuild the station itself, they added the modern concourse off to the side, to hold all the departures until their train's ready to board. Meanwhile the arrivals walk off their train and straight out of the front doors, so they can't get in everyone else's way while they work out their next move.
it's good imo. a mix of old and new, with lessons learned from other transit operators (like busy airports).
