it's a bit tricky because the holes are parallel with the rack bars but the fork leg to be clamped is raked at an angle and i kind of don't want to have the clamp not sitting level with the fork leg and maybe damage it, if that makes any sense
and the nuts don't have room to turn if you use the top holes
and if you move it back more and drill another hole there isn't much metal in some places.
I think i need to get some of pic related
really wish this gunnar frameset had mid fork bosses but it's ostensibly for CX racing
you're right though, it's not good to be slanted like that.
