maybe it stems from the natural poorfag culture of bikes and /n/ in general
eitherway iv seen people getting ebikes to commute to work rather than their cars so I think thats great. Some people can't make the trip or need some help and an e-bike fills that role. Also if they dont want to be absolutely drained or drenched in sweat or work a labor intensive job anyways.
also for parents who are out of shape and riding with their kids or other younger family, keeping it casual and fun.
I dont know why /n/ is such a baby about this
