It got up to 4C today, but they were forecasting it to be 7 a few days ago. I waited for the wind died down so I didn't get out until 3 pm. For some reason I thought if I did a 75 km ride I'd be able to finish before it got dark, but had I looked at the sunset time I would have known better. At least I took lights.
All the specks on the road shoulder are large salt crystals. The roads were still a little damp, tomorrow when they dry out they should turn white from all the salt that is being used.
