So now my point that your bike isn't quite classic enough to pull it off is an opinion but the logic around it is something you're atleast somewhat onboard with.

So they would not be inherently out of place on your bike. And I do think a black post and stem would make your brown look worse. Whether that's because black isn't 'classic' or because it's black seems hardly to matter. It would clash, no?

and no i don't make a habit of sperging about stamped dropouts but i probably wouldn't go to the effort and cost of a ground up build with modern parts on a low tier steel frame
