those with mixed use are an acceptable use of land in my view, but you have to make them packed as fuck otherwise it's pointless
if you look at pic related for instance, you could go one story higher and add 33% on living space instead of using 33% more land
the problem with these very narrow houses is nobody wants to build something without parking space today
