>>1611828on second look i think they're clearcoated. the top cap looks like it's plain carbon on the bottom but clearcoated on the top and sides and inside the hole. the glossy version is claimed to be ~1 gram heavier, maybe relevant if the clear coat is thick enough to add like 0.5 grams or more. the stem looks like it was clearcoated and then polished externally while leaving an orange peel texture inside the clamp areas. similar story with the conical spacer/dust cover as with the top cap. the round spacers though, it seems like they would not be clearcoated since they're just cut from a carbon tube, and they have more of a clear black color than a yellowish tint, but i don't know for sure.
