>>1602201Anything less than 0F is when it starts to suck but if you're experienced and dressed right, -7F wind chill is doable and for a short 3 mile ride, it's no problem. I've had to deliver in -40 wind chill before, that sucked. Wear good gloves, boots, and a balaclava.
You can always hide in a grocery for a few minutes if you need to warm up, perfect opportunity to refuel on a Cliff or Larabar and coffee or tea. I always use that opportunity to restock my backpack's hidden snack compartment.
