>>1131255Whether it's mounting your phone or using a cheap gps, the thing to make sure is a secure mount. A lot of phone mounts are shit but there's good ones out there. I was discouraged by a shit phone mount so my preferred method is have the route selected before beginning the journey with directions being sent through a bluetooth speaker unit or bone conduction headphones. Keep your focus on the road and if you need to look at your phone, stop somewhere safe then check it. It also helps you memorize the map better
