I've been riding a Surly 1x1 with an Xtracycle Free Radical cargo kit for about 20 years and recently went electric with a cargo bike from California Scooter Co., 750w rear hub motor instead of mid-drive, but set up much the same as yours. Mine has 27.5 wheels/tires, so the center of gravity is a bit higher than my regular cargo bike, but I've gotten used to it. I live in a hilly area and it climbs really well, comes capped at 20 mph, but you can unlock it and it'll go about 26-27 mph now. Weighs about 100 lbs with bags, but comes stock with 2 batteries, so can get about 60-75 miles between charges. Ride on!
