>>1408944>>1408972>>1409040are you the dude who lives near campinas or the one who wanted to weld disc mounts to a aspen way frame? it might be the same person
yeah, new frame if you're planning on doing any serious riding, if not, well, i've seem people do any sort of crazy stuff to contain chainstay holes, from spot welding iron rods along the drilled area to even clamping it down with hose clamps. I wouldn't trust my ass on a bike with those sort of hacks going faster than 20kmh but if all you're planning is lights cruises then it might be allright.....or not.
either way, it's a shame, although aspen is basically hardrock tier, the extra 10v models are not that common to find, specially if it has its original components.
if you're near campinas we should meet, i hardly know anyone who likes bikes beyond just riding them
>>1409005why that fork looks bent
i guess, but isn't it possible to build the same thing for less?
>>1409061if you're upgrading with components avaliable on a higher priced bike than your current stock one then i'd say you're already at a loss.
the only exception would be upgrading old bikes with new stuff/converting them, but then you're basically only buying the frame and maybe the wheels.
i don't think anyone should buy a new bike thinking about changing its critical components.
people who run bullhorns on geared bikes: what's your setup? is it confy on long rides with only two hand positions or does it get tiring after a while? is it best to have your controls on the horns or the flats?
